Our Championship Winning History.

On Saturday 19th September 2009 at the Scottish Cowdenbeath Raceway, Stock Rod driver 829 – Stuart Fox became the 1st Englishman since 1998 to win the ORCi World Championship and the 1st person to ever win the Championship in a Peugeot 106. We are proud to say that underneath the bonnet of the Championship winning car was an engine built by Engine Services & Components.

Our history with Stuart goes back to 2005. Before this time the ORCi Stock Rod formula had been dominated by the Vauxhall Nova.

We decided it was time for a change!

Since then we have spent each year developing the Peugeot 106 into a competitive championship winning car.

Along with taking the Gold in 2009 we have won many ORCi Championships.
Some of these include:-

Ø  2007 & 2009 INCARACE Motorsport Points Championship

Ø  2007 English Championship, Northampton International Raceway

Ø  2008 British Championship , Cowdenbeath Raceway

Ø  2009 Irish Open Championship, Ballymena Raceway

We race at a wide variety of short oval raceways all over Great Britain & Eire. Ranging from ¼ mile banked oval raceways like Hednesford Hills Raceway, Staffordshire & Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich to tight 280yard ovals like Great Yarmouth Stadium & Taunton, Somerset. We travel from as far north as Crimond Raceway, Scotland, to the southern track of St. Day, Cornwall. We also race at Tipperary Motor Speedway in Eire and Ballymena Raceway in Northern Ireland.

At each of these raceways the racing is timed using a sophisticated transponder system which connects each car racing to a main decoder system based in Race Control. At the end of each meeting the promotions upload the data onto a website called My Laps (See Links Page). On this website there is a wide variety of information from results to top/average speeds to lap times.

We are proud to say that our Peugeot 106 is 90% of the time achieving the fastest lap times of all competitors racing at each venue and we continue to improve on the results year on year.
